Mindfulness - being aware of what's happening and how we are relating to it - can help us tap into joy, gratitude, and be content amidst the ups and downs of life, Sunday Scaries included.
To be more mindful, it helps to have friends, so join us! There will be a topic (usually), group sharing, a brief meditation, and a chance to connect with like minded humans, and, yes, coffee.
No experience with meditation or mindfulness required.
This class is offered freely. I am taken care of financially, so 100% of any donation (venmo @alex-snider) will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. You can give directly, too: www.nami.org. Suggested $5-$15. (Venmo or giving directly will save fees vs Eventbrite)
